This bridge is located about 6 miles East of Helen, GA, near the community of Sautee. It is a very short bridge, as you can see in the photo, over the small Chickamauga Creek. The original bridge was washed away in 1895, and replaced by the current one. It is blocked off from vehicular traffic.

Lula Covered Bridge Near Lula, GA.

This bridge is located about 2 miles East of Lula, GA, off GA Hwy 51. It No longer carries traffic, and, since the road has been moved, is actually on "posted" private land. This photo was taken from Antioch Road at a distance of perhaps 30 yards.
